What brought me to photography 1 was the thought of being creative and capturing it. I learned about all the different settings that you can use when taking a picture. It helped me learn more about what I am capable of doing with a camera. The biggest challenge this semester was trying to come up with a single idea for some of the projects because there were so many ideas that I could have done. My favorite project was the final self-portrait that we had done. I would choose to redo the pinhole project because I actually know what to do now.
I used one red and blue eye, and half of it shadow and the other half of it very light, to symbolize that everyone has another side to them, by this I mean they could seem nice but are really mean or vice versa. I want people to come away from my project thinking about the people they judged, because they could have thought someone was mean just by looking at their appearance.
The one thing that I would say to future photography 1 students is be creative because you could create something truly amazing.
